This childbirth education series will be taught by Kieran Doucette, HBCE; a certified Hypnobirthing practitioner and DONA trained birth doula. A 5 class series held weekly on Mondays from 6p – 8:30p. HypnoBirthing® is a proven method and technique focused on instinctive birth for achieving a safer, easier and more comfortable birth. The program is built around an educational process that includes special breathing, relaxation, visualization, meditative practice, attention to nutrition and positive body toning. Most importantly it fosters an air of mutual respect for the birthing family, as well as the health-care provider in a traditional health-care system or an alternative setting.
